Looks like Playstation 4 and XBox One gamers who missed the boat the first time around have much to rejoice about in this HD collection!
Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios are releasing Batman: Return to Arkham on June 10 2016, if this rumor is to be believed.
Eurogamer recently received an email leak from a purported Gamestop employee, which included a picture of the yet unannounced collection:
The collection contains both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, and will be visually optimized for both the Playstation 4 and XBox One. It will also include all DLC released for both games.
It will not, however, include Batman: Arkham Origins, as that game was produced by Warner Bros.’ Montreal studio. It almost became a trilogy guys. Almost.
Preorders (at least via Gamestop) are slated to start today, so I’m assuming a preorder frenzy to begin sometime this week.
Batman: Arkham Asylum received a very positive 91%, and Batman: Arkham Knight received an equally great 87% on Metacritic.com. With two great games and their DLCs all in the same collection, I believe Batman: Return to Arkham will be a resounding hit.
So why the secret, Rocksteady?
