The Automatron DLC is finally available, after what seemed to be the longest two weeks for Fallout 4 PS4 fans. The DLC was initially released mon schedule on 22nd March 2016 to R1 & R2 accounts, leaving R3 account fans in the lurch. It’s not the first time Bethesda did this though, having made R3 accounts wait for the Day 1 patch for almost a month.
Automatron introduces the wasteland wanderers to the art of robot-building, the newest feature this DLC has to offer. Here’s the blurb from the official website:
The mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth, including the devious Robobrain. Hunt them down and harvest their parts to build and mod your own custom robot companions. Choose from hundreds of mods; mixing limbs, armor, abilities, and weapons like the all-new lightning chain gun. Even customize their paint schemes and choose their voices!

It’s been a testing couple of weeks (speaking from experience here…). All’s good now though, since fans now have something to sink their teeth in to bide their time in the wasteland until the next DLC comes out.
