The Marvel Studios marketing machine continues its promotional initiative by carpet bombing the interwebs with B-Roll footage, movie clips and TV spots as we enter the last ten days before the release of the next exciting chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR on May 6th, 2016.

Today, let’s check out the latest CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR TV spot which reveals our Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man in glorious Civil War action. *SPOILER ALERT!* DO NOT read beyond this point if you don’t want to be spoiled of what transpires in the actual movie..

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR – TV Spot #30 “You Have A Metal Arm?!”

It’s SO cool to hear actor Tom Holland’s voice as Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man! The sense of wonder he imbues into the delivery of that line reminds me that this is a very young teenage highschooler who is suddenly thrust smack dab into the weird and wonderful world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) – full of Norse gods, a frozen WWII warrior, a flying metal man and a jade giant with impulse control issues.

I can’t wait to see how Spider-Man adjusts to the MCU and becomes a valuable asset to the Avengers as its youngest team member!

Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team.

The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR hits theaters worldwide on May 6th, 2016.
