Trailer Park | CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR

Fresh off DC Comics/Warner Bros Studios’s critical disaster that was BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE last week, the Marvel Studios marketing machine has started ratcheting up its own promotional initiative as we enter the last thirty days before the release of the next exciting chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR on May 6th, 2016.
Similar to the new trailer which surfaced in early March 2016 featuring our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, a new international trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR has surfaced offering us a bit of new footage featuring Black Widow and Hawkeye exchanging some playful banter in the middle of a fist fight.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR – International Trailer

Personally, I feel that it’s a nice call back to the first AVENGERS movie when Black Widow really did hit Hawkeye as hard as possible to jar him out of Loki scepter’s mind control. The juxtaposition of that line shows that even though these heroes will be fighting each other in the movie, you know it’s not going to get too serious for some of them. Of course, as you know… it’s all fun and games until someone actually gets hurt!
Next up, we have three new TV spots for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR which is a condensed version of the international trailer featured above.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR – TV Spot “Assemble”

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR – TV Spot “Still Friends”

Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR hits theaters worldwide on May 6th, 2016.
